In 1985 the average NBA player made a paltry $330,000 per year. By 2010 it had risen to $5,356,000 per year. That’s a sixteen fold increase while the average rate of inflation for the average Joe during the same period was about 110 percent. I’m afraid I can’t muster up any sympathy for these overpaid crybabies
... and meanwhile, there are homeless Veterans on the street or families with children, homeless elderly, or homeless people who are disabled ... something wrong here ....

Greed! This whole thing is about greed. These multi-millionaires fighting for more money while the poor shlubs that buy the tickets take it up the ass. Screw them all. Let the fans boycott these greedy pricks.

Patrick, I'm a fairly avid fan of the NBA. Used to be a fan of Major League Baseball too, but I haven't watched one single regular season game (maybe an occasional world series game) since they went on strike, probably 15 years ago. It's too early to say I'll never go back to watching NBA games, but if the greedy bastards stay out long, it's a very good probability.
