While I’m no doctor it is true
And this may sound outrageous
Time spent with mom and now I stew
I’m sure that dementia is contagious
Can’t find my keys to drive the car
Not feeling too courageous
Forgot what I was looking for
I swear dementia is contagious
What’s his name, what does he do?
So much for business advantageous
A stop sign I somehow ran through
I know that dementia is contagious
Left half my stuff in my shopping cart
At least I didn’t get rampageous
Not knowing why is not too smart
I say that dementia is contagious
With all the stupid things I do
I feel a little bit umbrageous
It might be time to house me too
I tell you dementia is contagious

While I have some of those characteristics you mention, my helpers, through their association with me, have become very forgetful of late. My fervent hope is that they won't go off in the morning and forget to get me out of bed. ;-)
