Once again Washington, DC is seeing snow...24 to 30 inches expected...WOW!!!

Poem Artwork

Kind of shy...she teased...

with mild winds of the season

...now bold...her chills freeze

***

Temps plung down to teens...

grab hats, gloves, scarf...breath like steam

...while moon lit snow...gleams

***

I know...I took my

time coming but...I'm here now!

...B-r-r-r-r...guess who I am...?

Enjoy your deep snow, make a snowman and catch crystal snowflakes
with your tongue, go sled riding and throw a few snowballs
do all those crazy things we once did as kids, those wonderful things I now miss, I am too old for shenanigans I am thinking of you while on a hammock sipping rum & coke, that's why I moved south running away from the snow....love & Peace be with you
Don't stay too long out in the snow

Snow!! I am a weirdo because I love snow, and we have been jipped up here in the Hudson Valley of NY, as we usually get a bunch of snow, but this year, it seems to be hitting the city and NJ more, all south of us, so not fair, lol. This is one of my favorites of yours, Joyce. I like the way you brought the senses and place alive in this with spare words and lines, really effective, my friend~ God Bless you always, Michelle x

You're making me feel cold, Joyce, and believe me that's a very good thing in sultry tropic.

Joyce: I'm here in the DC Metropolitan area too watching this beautiful snow fall. I love the snow and hope we get 30+. Stay warm and be safe.

God bless you,
Deborah

You have me longing for some of that clean white stuff, Joyce. It has been an unseasonably warm winter here so far (west coast of Canada). Love and blessings,

Regis
