Poem Artwork

Beige walls surrounding me
pretending security. With
darkened skies crashing
like broken mirrors breaking.
Making seven years bad luck
through a curious odd night
of discovering, old friends
who are both young and alike.
Making acquaintances leaves me
wondering, is life really easy,
or is esotericism a blank slate?

Life is NOT easy, and eroticism is a game for the young, whose bodies respond before their minds do, and for the aging, whose mind conjures and longs for what the body refuses to comply too.

Eileen made a good point too.

Sara, blessings to you and your relentless creativity.

This hits home as I start the slow roll down the other side of the hill in life I often have the same taunting questions. No easy answers forthcoming neither.

Your finely honed poetry reflects events of which you and your people are an active part. Before? After? Who know what is right at any given moment. Leadership must be continually earned, so for your nation and mine, we must place trust in our leaders or suffer a worse fate. Your words are poignant and timely. - Bill
