Kids ... whatever they do we love 'em anyway--pee, poo, barf and all :)!
***************
Snifter, snapper, snorting, snorer …
what a wily rascal, Harper
(like Tarzan breezing thru the trees)
you bring animals to their knees.
With a flick of your tongue,
you lick oozes that run—
then grin as if it's fun.
Snapper, snorting, snorer, snifter,
your wee fingers aren't a dipper.
"Blow it, Harper! Please don't snort 'er."
Wish all noses had a zipper.
Got a bone to pick, gripe.
"Harper, why can't you wipe?
Oh, you smell! Swell! You're ripe!"
Snorting, snorer, snifter, snapper
better get your hose a wrapper.
"Good gracious! Harper peed on me!
Double-duty, he barfed on me. Gee!"
With a soft, tender coo
he steals my heart anew …
despite what he may do.
Snorer, snifter, snapper, snorting …
you are loved and quite amusing;
innocent charm, love, you're using.
Can't imagine life without you!
I'd shatter; heart broken in two.
Marvelous creation—
minor irritation—
you've my love, devotion.
Snifter, snapper, snorting, snorer …
what a Holy treasure … Harper.

Reviews of "Harper (a newborn baby boy/fictional)"
The Wholly Book of Doo-Doo-Rot-on-Me is adult satirical humor featuring adult language and adult content, and the work is a parody of the Old Testament Book of Deuteronomy.
Wonderful imagery filled with in-depth descriptions - uniquely brillant!!
