De can’t elopes … husk is melon of mush.

De fruit of de loon attracts a raccoon
with mask of surprise surrounding both eyes.
He steals what he must—de fruit of distrust.

De fruit of de loon turns rancid. All swoon.
Though fools still partake of juices and quake.
From wisdom men shy … content to ‘get by.’

De fruit of de loon makes senses cocoon.
’Twix failures there’s boons of loons who cartoon.
But man, in his need, is loony with greed.

De fruit of de loon will wed, honeymoon.
Ne’er far from his ‘tree’ drops seeds of mis’ry.
He leads us to war to fight e’ermore.

De fruit of de loon loves hearing KA-BOOM!
He bites ev’ryone … that son of a gun!
Chokes on lies he passed from his lips as gas.
