Rosey Was A Nose

Who wants to 'catch' a runny nose :)?

Poem Artwork

Rosey was a nose
a rosey pink was she--
big,
fat,
protruding.
Rosey was a nose
a tad friendly was she.
She ran along the street
nodding as she honked--
what a slick drip!
Harvey was her beau;
an old ski nose was he--
long,
wide,
and flaring.
Harvey was a nose
yet he sailed over seas.
A hanky was his sail
which served the master well
(would it never fail);
Harvey was a nose.
They were wed with a blow
as every nose should know.
They named their child Rose--
a cherub nose was she . . .
small,
round,
and little.
Sweet Rose was a nose
that grew long like a weed.
When she had to sneeze,
she fell upon her knees;
"Please, don't run. Oh, please!"
Sweet Rose was a nose.
The family of three
shall live infinity
when we honk, sail, and sneeze,
fall down upon our knees;
"Please, don't run. Oh, please!"
