Fat, fiftyish, a leather-skinned momma
sporting wide-girth hips that should slow me down,
heed my warning, you better get running
before I throw my banana peels down.
It’s a slick situation,
slippery anticipation,
filled with pride. I’m a big, furry momma
with an itch to scratch, dangling from green trees.
I’ve wisps of hair like a coconut husk
but with the humor of a thousand clowns.
There’s sincere fascination
when there’s gross aggravation.
Fat, fiftish, a leather-skinned momma
sporting wide-girth hips that should slow me down,
heed my warning, you better get running
before I throw my banana peels down.
Slip, take a spill, on a peel.
You’ll get a kick out of me!

Sandy....what a lovely write. Had me rolling around on the floor. I got off the floor when I saw people coming at me with nets. Wow! Loved it. Bill Murray
