Up until now, I've been wandering through life, Never knowing the purpose of me. I've thought long and hard, of the spirit and soul, Consumed, by my desperate need.
Up until now, the mystery rests, In some place, my heart kind-of fears. I don't know just where, and I still can't declare, Hallelujah, I know why I'm here!
Up until now, the joke is on me, Second-guessing, just where I come from. My silence spent wondering, my life's destiny, Sunday mass reassures Kingdom Come.
The fear of a judgment, waiting for my demise, Restitution be paid by the brow. Driven forth to proceed, by my spiritual need, I'm still searching, up until now.
I suspect you will find that it is a journey of which we are all partaking at various times in our lives. Searching for answers to questions that we have yet to know.
