Depart Does the Rain…

The rain does depart,

Out to the ocean where it did start,

To ravage some poor fisherman,

Deep out at sea, fishing for carp…

Days of clearing and sun,

Predicted, so do have fun,

Only two to dry out with so, run,

Down to the beach to soak in the sun…

The ocean a bathtub, 75 degrees,

Swimming does not have to be done only up to the knees,

Cooling it is, to the body at ninety-eight point six,

Gotta get to the beach to have me some kicks…

Boogie board all waitin’ & ready,

For me to go boardin’, yes little Eddie,

Need some time there on my beach,

On the weekdays the tourists are but few,

Staying up on their end of the beach when I am there to renew…

Think of me this Friday; I will be there to relax,

When you are at work or dealing with stresses, I will be on my back,

Soaking in the suns rays, thinking nothing, sorry, of you, 

The oceans inhabitants welcoming me with no slack,

On the way there and on the way home, I promise to think a bit of you too…
