Dogs have it better than Humans…

When a dog meets another, a lot is going on,

Both sniff each other’s tails, okay butts,

And one may do a bit of posturing,

Probably the male, if it is boy and girl,

Then the girl lay’s down, giving the male the ground rules,

She is fixed, he is fixed, nothing more to be said,

They meet the parents, set a date and move in together…

Simple as pie, not the one that is the value of same,

But a regular relationship, the female knowing her place,

And the male following her around with the toys,

Barking and howling, yes dear, yes dear, whatever you say dear…!

Knowing this, does that not make it easier for humans to do the same,

I will smell your butt if you do to me the same, then lay down on the ground,

And while we are getting to “know” each other, you can toss the rules off,

And we can bark and howl all night long, well, until the neighbors do roar,

They are a bunch of lions, tigers or bears just over there…
