Naturish...sort of. I had some time and parked out in Fortescue, NJ and wrote this on the shores of the Delaware river...wide mutha...

This River Runs Wide… This river so wide, Birds do fly over and glide, Flowing between NJ and Delaware, I sit in my car and stare… What do I hope to see? A wayward whale, in from the sea? Fresh water here this far north, Waves breaking on the shore, A small spit of land, Not too wide for sure… Large seagulls of dark grey and white, Lined up and awaiting their dinner respite, Fishing boats out for the day, Returning with their catch, Out of the air the seagulls do snatch… Large ships on the horizon, Coast Guard helicopter does pass over, Protecting our shores, Of this river wide leading in from the sea… © ed ~ 10/14/04
