Dark as Night…

Rufuz has not left my side,

Not since the thunderstorms did bring high tide,

Scared though he may be, he seems to like the winds ride,

The camper does shake, the awning like a sail,

Glad my work got done this morning,

Otherwise we would both be outside having to bail…

Rain so hard, cannot be seen across the street,

A powerful line of storms does give me a treat,

The Jeep & camper getting washed, thanks mom Nature it surely is neat…

Flashes of lightening, rumbles of thunder,

Rain so loud you might think the gods have come to tear us asunder,

My head does tell me that the weather has again changed,

Pounding it does through the storm that has ranged…

Too quiet it seems to get,

Just after the storms do pass,

Only the trees dropping their leaves and left over raindrops,

Passed us this first line of storms,

More to come per the radar, many swarms,

Rufuz and I will get a buzz tonight,

Listening to the rain coming down not so light…
