A little Reminder…

It’s hot as hell out,

The summer is here,

Heat and humidity,

We sometimes fear…

The wintertime is but six months hence,

Though this reminder may not make much sense,

I find I have to remind you, as some of you are quite dense,

Next winter will come and supposedly it will be slightly intense…

So keep it in mind when out to those bar-b-ques you attend,

On us with snow and sleet and cold it will eventually descend,

We can’t stop the change in seasons though summer we would like to extend,

Winter is on its way back, slowly it will take to do so and that you can depend…
