Ah, Ed, I envy you, having the beach to yourself! My favorite time was over the New Year, when again there were no tourists nor *intruders.* But having the beach covered in snow, which deadens sound and gives an even starker look to the winter beach, would be heavenly. I enjoy it through your words.

but then, snow up your a**, like manure, is sumpin' you know well. but, COLD you have no idea of. Where i live is cold as Hell. we got down to freezing last night. well close anyway.

Don't know about being soaked in brine in this weather, but, as they are wont to say, "to each his own." Good poem, whether you are brine-soaked or not.
I love the sound of seagulls. Their song is poetry in any season. Stay bundled up, zipped and mitten, fur of Rufuz with you're smitten. I see your red cheeks, beach boy!
