Ham Bone…by Rufuz
Ham bone,
Better than a stone,
Like it better than a scone,
Dad gave it to me as I guard our home…
I eat it all, you humans only eat the meat,
The inside is best but ya gotta have strong teeth,
I eat it then hide it from daddy underneath,
He does not like to crawl in the dirt under the camper,
To all future dogs in this spot I do my bone bequeath…
Dad says I still have another,
He treats me like an overbearing mother,
But I love him just the same, more than any other,
Daddy and I are as close I think as brothers…
