Hey, at least you don't live in Columbus, where everyone forgets their home training whenever it snows. Some of us pretend it's not there and it's okay to still drive 20 mph over the speed limit, and the others freak out over a snowflake and slow to 15 mph while on the freeway.

I don't have this problem Ed, I try to stay inside when the snow and sleet come down, of course I quit smoking in 1993...but if I ran out of coffee...on the road I might be! Enjoyed your write and humor as always a pleasure to read your work!

In my part of the world, <southern Virginia> we didn't see much snow this year so I didn't have this problem. Glad you got home safely even thou it took four hours.:)

Left the car at home, took the bus, gave the finger back to the ones looking at smiling me from their ditched cars half buried in the snow.
Is so nice to be on the right side for once.

My motto in a snowstorm, don't go out unless you have to, i.e., milk, bread, eggs ... be part of the solution, not the problem -- TV says there are accidents everywhere in this snowstorm!

In grocery stores we see it all the time.......people by the hunderds racing in through storms of snow, high winds, flash flood possibilities......and worst.........and for emergency food?.......nope........its for chips and dip and munchy foods.......can't live without that now can you? .........and someone races through the snow for a potatoe chip and dies........hmmm ya gotta wonder.

I feel for you in this situation, Ed. When it snows here; stay off the road is the best advice (remember, I love on the "wet" coast and snow is not usually all that common except on the mountains). Well done. Love and peace to you and to Rufuz... ...woof woof.
