Descend did the smoky fog, Quiet were the usually noisy frogs, Shrouded were then the salty bogs, Movement only the birds off floating logs� Best to just sit down, On the ground, in the brown, No wetness it does cause, Bringing on not a frown� Listen for any sound, Away in the distance your playful hound, Chasing the birds he does by himself them surround, At this place you do face your private battle, Such of your inner self you do find quite profound� � ed ~ 3/25/07

I love your nature writes...always have. Amazing how words can transform one's outlook. This morning, I had already gone from seriously grumpy to silly, and now to cozily silly. Looking forward to seeing you and Woofie!

Fog on stagnated waters surrounded by unmoving trees, a place for a private battle or to hear the usually noisy frogs.
An a little chill down the spine.
Well written.
