Two million dollar home Location, location, location Without steel bulkheads Though it was just built Float away it would After all it’s only built of wood… Nothing can fight the rising seas No amount to Nature can be fees The ocean does take back What for many years & mans interruption The ocean did lack… One island cut in half to two Does make most beachgoers blue But as for me, the ocean should take her share Keeping dirty humanity off her beach Trash won’t be left strewn, her beach left bare As it should be there… © ed ~ 6/8/08

Another wonderful write Ed, a beautiful home but truth is nothing is meant to last forever. Should have just built a little Beach house and saved your money. I'll drop by for a visit sometime. Thanks for sharing.

Right on, Ed! The sea will have what is rightfully hers. The very first native americans knew that - about 15 thousand years ago when the North American glaciers were melting off and the sea was rising, as it still is.

Lucky you been by the sea agai. I am just going to take a day soon to go on a trip to Atlantic City by bus, when I arise early in the morn. Just to sit and watch the people strolling by and eat some french fries and possibly ice cream. Love to do that and have not done in a while.

This reminds me of a wise man who built his home on a rock; the winds (sea?) came, and blew - the house stood. The foolish man who built his house on the sand - the winds (sea??) came, and blew - and great was the fall of the house. Excellent -
