Gone in a Blink...

Early this morning, white,

Absorbed since, after suns bright,

Tears make my eyes blurry,

Not a single left, flurry…

 

Sure they will again return,

Not like the sun will anything burn,

Maybe in the southern hemisphere,

But I just loved watching them flitter by,

Flurries felt as if they were of me a peer…

Yesterday was a little mother of a sea storm, today we wake up to a few inches of snow, if anything this weatherer is wacko! ! !

Falling snow is a beautiful thing. I haven't seen snow in years, and your poem made me a little homesick for childhood.

Already Gone? WOW. And I bet you never even got dressed yet to go out and play in them! Ask Brother Edvard to send you a piece of a glacier floating by his place, for Christmas.

PS And don't forget - mail those Holiday packages to your brothers early this year - hate for you to get caught in a real snowstorm on the way to the Post Office!
