My Creek does Overfloweth...

Poem Artwork

Two inches of the wet stuff,

Better than snow, don’t need the fluff,

Though snow does allow me to be less gruff,

At least at first, though getting around can be tough…

Mired are we in water & mud,

The creeks overflowing creating a flood,

If I drank I’d sit home with a Bud,

Waiting out as well the weather is Rufuz the stud…

Its dry at the beach,

And as for gas, for a change, its not out of reach,

So maybe it’s a good day to go there and walk,

Rufuz in the background wants to go too,

He tells me in the way he does talk…

Tain don't bother me. Never did, weather for the ducks I used to say.
It is my favorite expression still and I want to pass it on to you and others. Take Rufuz outdooors, he will love it too. He loves to go walking with his master and needs to be in the fresh rainy air and go along the beach for me.

Stay safe, y'hear, Ed?? And here we're cryin' for rain! We're having a deficit of about 9" in the rain gauge at the airport; we're gettin' dry again!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :)

LOL at Carol Surber's review; too hilarious!

LOL at Carol's review: with all that running water, might be a good idea or you'll be flooded inside AND out. :) Just stay safe, 'hear?

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
