Wind whips water with wonder,
Bay breakers break beach bodies,
Judgment juxtaposed jauntily,
Nature’s never named next nemesis…
Up the bay coast she rides,
Bringing along no lies,
She never said she wouldn’t,
Destroy what in her path lies…
Little if any left in her wake,
Building on waters edge man’s mistake,
He’ll though never learn, can’t have as well his cake,
Maybe better to build on the shore of an inland lake…

a number of high wind, high water storms on the Chesapeake,
especially when I lived at the mouth of the Bay. What lake
do you have in mind? -gene.
The first verse in itself is superb!
5-5-3-5 ... the creative use of Repetition ...
A good rhyming scheme - along with a truthful moral - WOW!
