Poem Artwork

Never though does she scold,

If she hit’s the beach calmly,

She is listening quite fondly…

When the beach she hits,

With waves a’pounding,

That is when she is upset,

Of ships of men she sets them grounding…

Happiness she does for some bring,

Each wonderful day at the shore she does in ring,

He roar is nothing more than hearing her sing,

Her smell of salt does of me caress & to her I cling,

To some she maybe a queen, but to me she is MY king…

And she's a mean big mamma too, a few times gave me a big spanking storm when I have been doing nothing bad!

Funny how we perceive some things and genderize them, myself I always thought of the sea as being a she.
