The Salted Scent of Home…

Poem Artwork

From the moment it’s first smelled,

The salted scent of the sea,

For time infinitum, of life on the lee,

That life with the sea upheld…

Sounds of a pelting sea,

Against rocks & beach,

Her scent an overpowering aphrodisiac,

She brings with her all manner of debris…

As a child one does of the scent learn,

If thee leaves the sea, for the scent he does yearn,

Till the day he returns, his nostrils then do burn,

Of that scent of his childhood, to his home he does return…

Another sea seasoned poem, likeable and making us want to be near that ocean you live by. Take care and get well soon.

Living at a stone throw from the sea all my life I understand what you saying, but also, that taking a walk there without you-know-who is not the same, that Viagra effect are kind of watered out.
Now, 67 hours again...that's not too bad as times flies! Me waiting too!!!
