Spring today did arrive,
Through the winter months we did survive,
As for me a good friend did drive to the beach,
My batteries re-charged, I have been revived...
The ocean but 45 degrees,
Not at all the bee's knee's,
But the beach, though a bit cool,
Was nowhere near how the winter was so cruel...
The boardwalk in Sea Isle not too busy,
But Ocean City was so crowded it put me in a tizzy,
We stopped there for fudge & something different,
Time down there was very little, much to my lament,
But still we had some fun, walking in the sand,
Rather than the usual of walking on cement...

Indeed it has been a loooooong winter.
Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside
I do like to be beside the sea!
I do like to stroll upon the Prom, Prom, Prom!
Where the brass bands play: "Tiddely-om-pom-pom!"
So just let me be beside the seaside
I'll be beside myself with glee
For there's lots of girls besides,
I should like to be beside
Beside the seaside! Beside the sea!
And here WE had SNOW for the first day of spring! LOL Go figure!
