I may never own one, but I can dream, CAN”T I…?

Poem Artwork

Ain’t she a dream,

In my jeans I may, well you know,

Yes, just for a lousy old car,

Cruisin’ along feelin’ up ta par…

Wish the car I had were painted red,

Just love that color, sort of gets in your head,

My old beast may be called a sled made of lead,

But when she runs she runs really nice,

Riding along in her makes me feel like I’m in bed…

Someday, who knows, I may own that car,

I don’t know that I would feel like a star,

But I would enjoy driving her without even one mar,

No dents, no dings, no scratches, just shiny paint,

If I actually did get one like it, I’d probably just faint…

I once had an '85 Yugo, does that count as a 'dream car' or a 'nightmare?'

Cheers,
Dan

I nearly fainted the first time I saw in a dealer's room a 1972 Pontiac Firebird (the one with the hood twin air intakes) but at the time I had a 1200 HD between my legs and it was raining like no tomorrow, so...I can be excused!

Red rocks! The pick-up I have now is brilliant red and I love it! But it sure isn't a muscle car! Wish I still owned my first 69 Nova SS.

Peace,
Dayvid

Lots of dream cars out there. I always wanted the 1968 Hurst Olds 442. A real tire smoker. Patrick
