Poem Artwork

To the shore on Wednesday,

A perfectly beautiful day,

Temps in the low seventies,

Did it with my love, Rene…

Did in stores shop,

Did on the sand, by the ocean, stop,

All this we did in Cape May,

Such a great day, what more can I say…

Get out and yourself enjoy,

With your girl or boy,

Oh come on, don’t be coy,

You know what I’m talkin’ about,

Go out and have some fun,

Even if you live in boring old Illinois…

There's nothing so pleasant as being with the one you love and the one who love you back. Thanks, Ed. Love and peace,

What's so boring about Illinois? They've got the dunes just across the border in Indiana. Sure glad you can still make it with René. How she puts up with you I don't know. But codependency does that to you. Ask my squeeze. Cape May must be beautiful this time of year with most of the tourists gone.

Sounds like a great day! A little chilly here in Maritime Canada for going to the beach...at least not without bundling up warm! giggle

I sure hope you took Ma's advice and didn't take along any Baby Fat in your picnic basket, you old Devil, you!

haha! In the streets, but not between the sheets! Sounds like Illinois is anything but boring, Ed.

Yeah! We're going snow sledding in the morning.
