Brisk, to say the least…

Poem Artwork

Enclosed the exterior,

Insulated the interior,

Still my job therein seems inferior,

Old man winter is doing his job most superior(ly)…

In the low teens this night,

Miss Nature back into puberty,

Warmer during the days light,

But not much, only slight…

If you are somewhere warm,

Send it up this a ways,

Granted its winter, this is nothing but the norm,

Better the cold than a vicious snow & ice storm...

"Brisk" is putting it mildly. It was 2 below zero at 8 A.M. up here on the lake this morning. Well said, Ed.

I'm sending you some of our weather,
It's nice, and fresh, and really cold;
Get outside and run over to a street light,
And stick your tongue out on the metal pole!

(And then send me and Ma a picture.)
