Outside our first hint of snow,

Barely an inch, but lets play,

The best time to make angels of snow,

Or just for the fun of it, in it we can lay…

The front that escorted it in,

Passed by oh so quickly,

And the snow likely won’t last the day,

Glad I am to be awake now to see it outside lay…

We’ve had our share for now I pray,

The skies today predicted to be gray,

More rain later on but this little snow made this day,

Better on a weekend for it to come,

Will be but a memory by the mornings work on Monday…
