The winters now past, what winter there was, but more we are in store for, we know the warmth in winter can't last...

With the wind blowing, Shaking the camper, Trying to keep warm, Wrapped in blankets my form… White out conditions, No reason to go out, Cozy inside or just about, Stuck inside makes me pout… But oh how I love to watch Natures violence, To some it may not make much sense, I will not here make false pretense, Even though I hate being cold, Probably from getting a bit old, I still love to see what winter is capable of…

Good poetry, you are young yet, not getting that old, now i love to walk in the snows at night, no bother at all, just contomplative and enjoyable.

I agree, Ed, winter is prone to extremes which take our breaths away, while it opposite, summer, is just miserably hot, hot, hot!

Ah! we're all getting old, my friend, but as we do so, we become more appreciative of the world around us.
Winter is capable of some truly spectacular phenomenons.
