I lie in bed

watching the world out my window

I wish you could see the trees shaking in the wind

the sky dark & grey

the window wet with rain drops

this is the time I really relish living here

no noise from the neighbors

only the pitter-patter from the rain on the roof

sometimes only the extreme pounding of heavy downpours

leaving the privacy of this little campground

would be at this time a mistake

to move away seems almost a suicidal thought

I would miss being so connected to Nature

as well I would miss my solitude

my reclusiveness, my quiet & my privacy

I like to think deeply, reverently & solemnly
