Poem Artwork

Over my beach it did grow,

The sun did rise from the horizon so slow,

Bringing forth a new year as well a new day,

I just wish it were warm when I first saw its rays…

Blind are we to the sun for the most part,

It sits there in the sky rarely do we notice,

She rises each and every day.

To do us the honor of lighting our way…

Pray we do for a better year,

For some each year is wrought with fear,

I am one of those though I try to remain clear,

The only thing that can be said is to all,

A very Happy New Year…J

So much goes by unseen. A wonderful experience actually 'seeing' what so many take for granted. Some times it can change your life. A better year indeed bubba ... hopefully. Peace and continued inspiration ... richard
