50 degrees at night,

Ain’t that outta sight,

It’s January, midwinter,

The cold gone for now,

The temperature doesn’t bite…

Got out today in just a sweatshirt,

This weather my dessert,

Unfortunately though the warmth won’t last,

Next week back to the cold we will revert…

For now though we will it enjoy,

Bicycle riding without heavy clothes,

Though this weather just may be a decoy,

Old Mom Nature messing with our heads,

The heads of us common folks, the hoi polloi…J
