Rarely does snow near the ocean take hold,
Surely it is now because of the extreme cold,
The salt air and ocean usually make it hard,
A beautiful beach scene seen by this bard…
Ocean City (NJ) is the place,
The snow and beach in God’s grace,
Quite cold for a walk on the boards,
What with the wind & blowing snow,
Just keep facing the sea, wind blowing there towards…
Winter time at the beach,
Snow right down to the oceans reach,
No suntans, swimming or even surfing today,
Cold enough for the ice to cover as well the bay…

Yes here in Wisconsin the lakeshore in winter is
always covered in snow and ice and also little tower
like snow volcanoes... when the tide ebbs and flows it
forces water through them and water sprays up making the
little towers even higher as the ice continues to build over
them... very pretty actually... I will have to get out and send
you a picture :)

Maybe there by the ocean you can make a few dollars or so.
