gotta get off all those doomsday writes and thoughts...

Poem Artwork

In the air there is a chill,

But with summer temps I have not had my fill,

The first night with this coolness brought a thrill,

I kinda miss the summer heat still…

Where did my summer go,

Did it run away and hide,

Or did it on a trip take a ride,

I’m not ready yet for when winters winds blow…

Yes, the daytime temps stay relatively warm,

But to go swimming in the ocean I like it hot,

Oh well, one swim for this summer I already got,

I guess with the weather I can never be truly happy, that’s the norm…

Is that frost on the grass? At least in the summer it can be splendor in the grass! Like the cliché says… Just wait, the weather will change.

Someone once said, "Everybody complains about the weather but nobody does anything about it." Nevertheless, I agree with you, Ed.

Love ya!
