Poem Artwork

No sun today, no need for lotion,

Waves roiling out of the southeast are of the ocean,

On a small craft today, sea sickness abounds from the motion…

Stormy seas wracks the beaches,

Freshly laid sands sucked back out to sea,

The ocean takes from man like so many leaches…

Dark clouds do a perfect day foil,

For me of the beach this weather does not spoil,

The clouds & ocean together do seem to broil,

The weather does around me make a comforting coil…

Sea Sickness and Leaches - all you need now are some Sand Fleas when you hit the beach, and you've got one marvelous day.

Yes, you're an old salt, Ed, just don't get too plastered whilst waiting to wide the wild waves. :)

Beaches? We don't want no stinking beaches! It sure looks like East Coast beach erosion is winning the battle that poor humans are waging by constantly building up beaches with new sand that gets washed away.

Sorry that you were a bit under the weather. ;-)
