Yep, that’s just dandy,
Snow today has been all day falling,
Old man winter HAS NOT totally gone,
From wherever he is; he is reminding us by calling…
When others talk of flowers & trees in bloom,
We are faced with a dark, dank day of gloom,
So, I get yet another day of looking out at the snow,
Enjoying the view out of my window in the bedroom,
Won’t be long before our snow covered trees soon,
Will be covered in green of mother springs groom…
I've had my GMC Jimmy for almost thirteen years now. It still looks and smells brand new; I take care of it. It's the best vehicle I've ever driven. As for snow, since there are no more winters here it seems, I miss it. Love and peace to you, Ed.
March can go out like a lion. I recall the time we were snowbound for three days in early May. And then, the night it snowed 8 inches during our junior prom, May 8.
Makes me wonder why they have that huge Philadelphia flower show in early March every year as though all those flowery displays could be right outside the door. And then I remember going to the Philadelphia zoo at Easter and it was 90°.
One thing is for sure. Spring starts on March 21 every year and the weather changes. Cars start when they have a battery with enough voltage. Cold weather reduces a battery's output and thickens the lubricant in the engine. No need to trade in the car. Just wait for warmer weather.
