Ah the trials and tribulations that El Nino brings to the northeast...

Poem Artwork

Extended outlook says no winter weather,
At least not for Christmas, whatever,
Showers the whole day through,
Mid 60’s in temperature too…

Must be Mr. El Nino in the Pacific,
Can’t be more than that specific,
Warmer, wetter weather in the great northeast,
Hopefully through the next few months,
We around here won’t get a visit by any snow beast…

Not a very hot summer either have we suffered of late,
Guess a warmer winter is also going to be our fate,
Would like just once to catch some flakes,
Just a LITTLE taste of what they get out by the Great Lakes…

It has only snowed once before Thanksgiving and ever since than,
rain, rain, rain...

We've got a few flakes to send you.
But they haven't got the fare.

Wait until January and then comes February. too. The snowman will visit and he just might come down south too! Have a Merry (not so white) Christmas!
