The cold temperature, wasn’t,
The sun stayed out, no clouds,
Snow did fall, but as rain,
As winters go, this ones been a bust, so far…
But, as soon as December did pass,
The temperatures did dip, but didn’t last,
Back again into the fifties & even low sixties,
As for a normal winter here, this one has been sickly…
After the overly snowy winters of 2009-2010 & 2013-2014, any winter that we've had since seem awfully and relatively mild....Especially after we've experienced snowstorms that drop 30 inches of snow or even 45 inches of snow within 5 days.

Be thankful for small favors. It seems like you miss your winter misery… Stuck inside. And to go to the beach in wind and snow sounds like no picnic at all. It's sunny and cool here, the same as Jane's 47° but sunny and pleasant as long as I'm watching the birds freeze from inside.
