12 days since last I wrote of a winter that wasn't...YET, After this weekend, I won't be again saying that, that's a sure bet...

A blanket of white, Blotting out the night, Seeing nothing of light, To even walk a fight, Out into it I doubt I might… Up the coast it came, A monster, not lame, A snowstorm, not the same, An unlucky blizzard is its name… Will we tomorrow have power, Will all our electronics survive, Man will eventually his technology revive, My only worry is not being able to get a shower… © -ed- 1/22/15

Looks just like the Winter we had in 2010/11 here in UK...My son went to Lapland in 2010... And in the week he was gone, we had much more snow here than him! :-)
It looks so beautiful on your photo...enjoy it before the slush sets in...

I guess you complained enough about not seeing winter and now you got your wish… In spades! I wouldn't worry about a shower. Just work up a good sweat running in place in your apartment, and then run out into the snow, naked, and roll around in the snow a while. That will tighten up your pores, soak up your sweat and then, only give you hypothermia upon your return to your apartment without heat.--Yummy!
