My research for the Monumental Journey Series took me up along the western coast of British Columbia. It was shocking how much garbage, junk, and plastic, had washed up along the shores and on the islands. Still... the coastal atmosphere was second to none. Keep exploring the shores, bubba. Never know what treasure you'll find. r

Absolutely breathtaking, Ed. From an old landlubber such as I makes me want hit the beach, lay upon its sand and just let the days go by listening to the ebb and flow of the water coming and going as it does.

ED ... Very nicely done, my Friend !

In June 1960, was in Army Reserves, 1st Summer Camp .
Cape Henlopen, Del. Right . mouth of Delaware River
& Atlantic Ocean.

The thing that impressed me that day was the number of dead, rotting
Horseshoe Crabs strewn along the beach.

I, like U, love the water, seashores, beaches, and such environs.

God... Mother Nature ... and sometimes ... we mere mortal poets can
accentuate Beauteousness !

When it gets warmer, we need to plan a meeting near some H2O !

If that lobster pot contained a lobster it would hit the spot! Unfortunately, many beaches are littered with too much junk that we throw away and shouldn't even buy.

Glad you're getting back out to your beloved seashore again. Looks like this one has some of the flaws you don't like.

'Love the way you write about the sea and now the Delaware. There is never a dull moment along shores and they beckon us to stay. I see you living on a beach somewhere.....happy and serene!!
