SNOWY BEACH…

Not often the snow covers the beach,

Salt air, water & snow,

Seem to stay from each other out of reach,

As they don’t quite blend.

They should however,

Get themselves together,

As they make a very beautiful combination,

Even with Ed & his Jeep stealing the scene.

I am there to sit and watch the snowfall on the beach,

The winter gulls still flying & swimming,

Looking for food amongst the flakes,

That covers the sand, the dunes and my Jeep.

I hope to again see, the snow, the ocean and the beach,

Put themselves together into a winter wonderland not seen,

By the summer throngs on that same beach,

For they will never know just how the mixture is so keen…
