Wow! Shades of growing up, the lake where we swam and the tire swing...right next to the golf course where we'd pick up stray golf balls and make many a golfer upset and the story grows from there. You gave me fond memories and I thank you for them.

We used to swim in the back bays off of boats and just docks & had a hell of a time, not worrying about anything...now with all the junk in those waters I, at least personally, wouldn't even dip my feet in it...how times have changed...Ed
You know I can remember my brothers and cousins jumping into the bayou as soon as we got to the fishing camp...right off the wharf! I always said 'Ick! Not me!' I was such a girl! lol I loved your tanka, my dear!
