I guess it is the Bhagavad Gita that allows the many cultures, languages and religions of the Indian greater subcontinent to get along so well, in spite of the great separation of Hindus and Muslims in 1948 at the breakup of English colonialism. If it weren't for Mahatma Gandhi, nonviolence would never have taken hold in South Africa and in the United States by the civil rights movement led by Martin Luther King, a Christian who learned from the philosophical idea of nonviolence being greater than violence.
