A GREAT author named Suzie Palmer gave me the idea for this poem from her poem. At times we strive for perfection but usually it leads to frustration.

What IS perfgect? pefecta? Purrfect? Sometimes I read so fast I can't even tell. What IS perfgect? pefecta? Purrfect? Sometimes I write so fast I can't even swpell stell, swell... What IS perfgect? pefecta? Purrfect? Yes, in this life on earth we can seek perfection but there is no such thing! What IS perfgect? pefecta? Purrfect? We can search for it day and night but it's better just to smile and sing! What IS perfgect? pefecta? Purrfect? It is something that man seeks and God has created from the ground What IS perfgect? pefecta? Purrfect? If we look at the flowers and trees we see true perfection all around What IS perfgect? pefecta? Purrfect? Perfection is that delicate balance in nature from the birds to the bee's What IS perfgect? pefecta? Purrfect? Life is conducted by a conductor in an orchestra that truly oversee's What IS perfgect? pefecta? Purrfect? When I think purrfect, I think of my cat and how he adopted me what IS perfgect? pefecta? ...few enjoy the privilege of acting
on impulse...your sense of exaggeration
motivates you to tackle the tricky task
and do it well...or is it exasperation...
Oh! hang on...must be excogitation for
excoriation...
Ok...regardless how excruciating...it is
still...an exceptional gift to do it
as successfully as...you did...John Michael.

I've found that your writing of this poem must've been perfectly difficult trying to make sure that you perfectly spelled the misspelled words the same every time--whew!

I prefer to think of it as trying our best and improving our skills. Perfection is unattainable, but when we see a great work of art like Michelangelo's David carved out of solid marble or a Tesla automobile being built to exact tolerance by robots, we are pleased by the perfection delivered from hard work.

That's when I'm pleased to see that someone took the effort to write well as well as write, like you did when creating this poem.

As the alley cat said, "Purr-fect!"
