Indeed, where have they all gone? It's wonderful how indigenous people around the globe have stepped up and are leading the fight to save Mother Earth. It would be nice if this one time talking money would just shut up!

The best comment I could make, albeit one of skepticism and doubt: never. Our obsession with techno world goods and convenience have eroded the foundation of our oneness with nature and songbirds.
After all, time and again we are reminded that in order to have stuff, some aspect of Nature's gift to us has to go. More of this kind of heartfelt advocacy for Nature has to be communicated. Thank you for being as conscious a being as you continually remind us through your words.

Thanks for those, so true, words about what has happened to humans. Back 40 years ago when I attempted to seriously study the subject of intelligence, I surmised that the people that lived as hunters and gatherers, as terribly rough their lives were, were still far more intelligent than the generations of humans seeking convenience, riches and a fat, lazy life.

One way or another, we will have to get smarter in order to deal with what we are facing from our own mistaken "progress."

I believe Rachael Carson's book, Silent Spring, argued that while insects can adapt and evolve, the toxins will accumulate in more complex species, such as humans! I was looking for the verse "Where have all the humans gone?" We poisoned ourselves then over-heated the planet!
