This last summer my friend said she was going peach picking. Knowing how clumsy she is I told her, there is a poem in there somewhere. Although her name is Cynthia, I took a little poetic license and used the name Pamela.
Pamela picks the peaches for their slurpy taste. And only does that ugly pit ever go to waste.
Pamela picks the peaches likes fuzzy on her tongue. Sez the juicy peaches keep her feeling young.
Peach Picking Pamela says come and climb my tree. Grab a branch of peaches and pick a peach with me.
Pamela picks the peaches a bushel and a peck. Then she slipped on a peach and broke her peachy neck.
She's buried with a peach pit, is now a big peach tree. From her grave, I heard her say Why don't you...BITE ME! ! ! ! !
This is great! I will have to have more fun with this one and print it out and read it to my dad... He has a inner squeamish feeling that comes over him when we even think the word "fuzzy peach"! One time all us kids chased him right into a bathroom with a fuzzy peach and he locked the door! HA! I love giving him the "goosebumps!"
