Muncie, Indiana: Icestorm last Wed. that knocked out the power for 60,000 people. As of today, its still not all back on, and we had to have electrical crews from several states to add manpower it was so bad, not to mention all the downed trees, cable, and phonelines. Great question, Karla, and a great write.

Something's happening, no doubt about it

Mother nature is just doing some house keeping. It's just that now we know what the weather is like all over the world instead of just in our neck of the woods and this can be overwelming sometimes. The media is just blowing it out of portion. I remember ice storms in Ontario and Quebec that cost the life of many wild animals. At the time this happened there was an overpopulation of deer and the deer where starving. This seemly horrible icestorm killed many of the weaker deer. After the storm there were no more deer straving. There is a method to Nature's madness. It is just hard to see the whole picture when it affects us the way that it does.

Excellent write Karla...what is going on is the earth must
align itself to planetary changes, and it makes all of the
weather patterns more intense...we are likely to have this
kind of activity for an indefinite period until the alignment
is settled, then it's up for grabs;-) hahaha
