Grass and women have been said to soften the outline of the hard world. I am inclined to believe this. You filled in the outline quiet nice, Karla. Shooting up there!

wish we could give you a little more from here, as my roof is wearing under the weight of water... love your opening - I could feel the joy at thirst quenched. I know the thirsting season and how the burn of the sun fades when I drink the living water. really wonderful poem, Karla. Dawn
