... great seismic surges as
the sky labors to bring
forth the storm.  It slides from
between clouds, slick with wet ----
not the violence I
expected:  no loud cries
of thunder, no flashes
of anger, no waving
fists full of wind and hail:
just a gentle Spring rain.

Beautiful! unlike the horror of 15000 dead in Burma,and no one knows how many more injured and missing. Enough to overwhelm the senses!

Very nice, clever usage of verse that shows the gentler side of Spring. How I wish we'd have more tranquil days like this, without the threat of severe! The rain is rather enjoyable today, for a change! Very well penned/illsutrated! BRAVA, Karla!
